Managing Director

Paul Purchase has worked within the Security Industry since 1989 following successful service within the Royal Air Force Provost Branch. He has been a Managing Director within the Industry since 1996.

Civilian Qualifications include a Diploma in Security Management, British Safety Council Level 2 Certificate in Supervising Staff Safely and completion of a SITO Security Surveying Course. As Managing Director, Paul takes full responsibility for the strategic direction, marketing and overall general management of Sight & Sound. He is instrumental in developing and implementing the organisation’s business plans and provides direction on quality management and health and safety policies.

Paul is part of the team through the life of all contracts right from the initial start up phase. He works alongside the Client & Development Managers to achieve the service requirements and attends client audit meetings.


Sarah PurchaseSarah Purchase

Sarah has extensive experience of operational and financial management in the services sector and a wide knowledge of managing substantial companies providing business-to-business services.

She has a record of success as a strategist and developer of businesses. She has been head hunted by businessmen and women alike (including the Official Receiver) in order to audit, manage and effectively turn around their businesses.

Between 2000 and 2009 she was President of Croydon Chamber of Commerce and was a Director of London Chamber of Commerce for five years from April 2003.

Sarah is responsible for the smooth running of the Finance Department and ensuring that as a business we recognise and develop our responsibility and commitment to the environment, community, workplace and marketplace in which we operate.


Roger SearsRoger Sears
Non Executive Director

With over 34 years in the field of security services, Roger joined the Company in April 2013 with vast experience and an exceptional track-record, having been a founder member of The Shield Guarding Company.

Roger was appointed as Director of Sales & Development and has responsibility for the strategic direction and marketing of Sight & Sound. He is instrumental in developing and implementing the organisation’s business plans and provides direction in many other aspects of the Company development. He has significant interest in the day-to-day and on-going operations of all our corporate contracts and management of the security team on these assignments. He has completed various security related training courses which includes a recognised course in Management and Leadership.

Sophie Harper-Booth
Operations Director

Sophie joined Sight & Sound in 2013 following working for a top FTSE Company in the City of London. Prior to this, she completed a degree in Business Management at the University of the West of England.

Due to her exceptional success in building valuable relationships with business partners, Sophie was promoted to Operations Director. Sophie is responsible for the development of the Company and for providing support to all partners, Implementation Team, and clients during the set-up period. She is heavily involved in the tender process which enables us to deliver and successful implement all innovations mentioned during our proposals. Sophie also monitors ongoing client satisfaction and attends contractual review meetings during the implementation stage. Passionate about service quality, Sophie is well known as an innovator, focused on delivering excellent quality services and adding value to our corporate contracts. She has completed various security related training courses which includes the SIA Door Supervision Course.

In April 2014 the Company web based training portal for Security personnel received accreditation and approval by Skills for Security.   Affirming that we stand out from our competitors by our ability to provide continued service improvement to match our customers’ requirements.
